Whelen Aerospace Technologies (WAT) has an extensive line of LoPresti speed mods for general aviation aircraft. These modifications were obtained by WAT in 2019 Whelen Whelen's Aviation Division merged with LoPresti Aviation. WAT has a 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Sebastian, FL where all these composite mods are produced and made to order. WAT's LoPresti mods available include highly efficient engine cowling, wingtips, firings, seals, and shapes designed to reduce the drag. The comprehensive cowl kits do a lot more than cool the engines more efficiently they significantly reduce the drag associated with cooling the engine. Reducing cooling drag provides more speed, more range, and better fuel efficiency. WAT has a variety of speed/ composite mod STC and PMA approve products.
